To enter the Pantheon you need a ticket, and from 1 July 2026 it costs more: €7 instead of €5. It is sold by the state manager on the Musei Italiani portal and at the monument ticket office, always for a precise time slot.

Alongside the official ticket are the GetYourGuide options, from $8: the same timed entry with an audio guide, an app, or a live guide. Below we list everything, with the rules written by the Direzione Musei nazionali della città di Roma, which manages the Pantheon.

How much does the Pantheon ticket cost in 2026?

The full-price ticket costs €7 from 1 July 2026; it used to cost €5. The reduced rate is €2 and is for EU citizens aged 18 to 25.

The increase was decided by the Italian Ministry of Culture with a press release on 10 April 2026. The full story is in the Pantheon at €7.

Where can I buy the official Pantheon ticket?

On the Musei Italiani portal or on site, at the ticket office or automatic machines. Payment goes through PagoPA.

The manager says it plainly: access is allowed «only by purchasing official tickets via the Musei Italiani portal», in addition to on-site sales. The visit calendar is monthly. Tickets for one month go on sale in the middle of the previous month: someone arriving in Rome on 10 March, for example, will find them on sale from mid-February.

The ticket office is on site, in Piazza della Rotonda. It sells until the time slots are exhausted.

Can I buy the Pantheon ticket on site?

Yes. Ticket office and automatic machines sell time slots until exhausted, and the ticket office closes at 18:00.

There are three times to remember. The Pantheon is open every day from 9:00 to 19:00. The last entry is at 18:30 with a single ticket, at 18:00 for groups and schools. Sales stop one hour before each religious service: Mass is on Saturday at 17:00 and on Sunday at 10:30.

How many time slots remain on a given day, no official page states in advance. On free days, the situation is different: you will find it in free Pantheon.

How do the Pantheon time slots work?

Each ticket is valid for one entry only, in the chosen time slot. The manager asks for «maximum punctuality».

It is not a daily ticket. If you arrive after your time slot, the official rule does not provide another time: the ticket is valid «exclusively in the available time slot». Arrive a few minutes early.

On the GetYourGuide listings, the rules are written option by option. The ticket with audio guide, for example, is valid only for the chosen date and time, and the time can be modified up to 24 hours before.

Is there a skip-the-line ticket for the Pantheon?

No. The manager writes it clearly: «No skip-the-line entry methods are provided».

Everyone enters with a ticket for a time slot, bought online or on site. Some GetYourGuide titles use words like «fast-track»: we describe each option for what is in its list of inclusions, i.e. a time slot ticket, an audio guide or an app, an escort at the meeting point, a guide.

What does a Pantheon ticket on GetYourGuide include?

The most reviewed options start from $8 and add to the time slot ticket an audio guide or an app, plus free cancellation up to 24 hours before.

The official ticket and those on GetYourGuide open the same door. What changes is what surrounds the entry:

Do you need a document to enter the Pantheon?

For several GetYourGuide visits yes: the cards ask for a passport or ID card, in some cases even for children.

  • Guided tour with ticket: the full official name of each participant must be entered at booking, otherwise entry to the monument will be denied. Document required for adults and children.
  • Small group: document required for adults and children.
  • Ticket with audio guide: passport or ID card among the items to bring.
  • Ticket with app: document, a copy is also accepted.

The rules change from card to card: read them before booking.

Is the Pantheon included in the Roma Pass?

No. «Entry to the Pantheon is not part of the Roma Pass and Omnia Card circuit», the manager writes.

With one of these two cards, the Pantheon ticket must be bought separately, like everyone else. Same price, same time slots.
